This was my first completed woodturning project. The handle is olivewood; the metal parts (blade and ferrule) came from Czeck Edge. Overall length is about 5 1/2”. The finish is Zinsser Bulls Eye shellac cut to 50% with denatured alcohol, plus about 20% boiled linseed oil.
UPDATE 2009-06-25: I was just notified that I copied one of Czeck Edge’s copyrighted designs for one of their other marking knives. I can’t claim ignorance; I printed out a picture of that design for inspiration, and ended up reproducing it almost exactly. I have pulled the pictures for now until I can modify them to be non-infringing.

I want one. Nice job. I looked at their web site and the kits they offer are reasonably priced.
