I made this dresser top valet to try to put some order to all the random crap I inevitably have lying around my bedroom – phone, wallet, letters, etc. I used oak, cut box joints for the corners, stained it with Minwax Red Mahagony, and finished with polyurethane. I put a layer of black felt on the bottom to keep my stuff from getting dinged up. Comments, suggestions, good jokes and all other manner of verbiage welcome.

Nice job! Love the way oak grain pops with a good finish on it.

Great joints. Great Finish.

Keep it up.
