Stickley Style Side Tables

Project by Wayne Precht posted 159 days ago 453 views 0 times favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Here are a few shots of a set of 3 side tables I recently finished for a commission. Fortunately, the woodworking is better than the photography.

Adapted from a Stickley design, I made these taller to match the client’s other furniture, added tapered legs and a small shelf by omitting the 4th side panel. The finish is a couple coats of danish oil followed by a couple coats of dark wax. The tops however are topped with several coats of lacquer buffed down to semi-gloss for protection from drinks and what not.

Great detail. Nice elements that are not usually found in Stickley design, it looks real nice.

Really nice , but I think you should call this your own style : ) Any pics of the top?

Beautiful table! That’ll be around in use with enjoyment for many years.
