An excellent cane! so many woods for your first one too… a very big undertaking i must say. Did you use any re-enforcement like steel rods on the inside? Good job.

Thanks for the comments, and Elin I used wood dowels through all the segments.
The picture was taken as a last minute thought before I gave it away to one of my in-laws. I placed it on the kitchen table shot a couple of pictures and ran out the door.

Vince, i have made many canes and they don’t last long before somebody grabs them! I still don’t have one for myself! Better keep your camera handy..they do disappear fast!
