Sofa Table

I offered to make a sofa table for a friend of ours, in exchange for a sofa they were going to give away. So here it is. I designed it myself.

On a bit of whim, I decided to carve a maple leaf on the front and a fleur-de-lys (we live in Quebec) on each end (also I wanted to experiment a bit).

;-)

As soon as my wife saw it she told me that Susan (our friend) would not like it. Sure enough, I had to make another one very similar but not shown here, no fleur-de-lys this time, just the maple leaf, but on the bottom.

;-(

So now I have my own sofa table.
