One of the latest chairs, more like a throne I guess. Someone on my last post mentioned that they wanted to see more chairs. This one is redwood roots and maple burl, the burl I salvaged off of a near by river, defiantly a challenge to wrangle out. The roots I collected here and there down the coast. Its been in the works for over a year I kept putting it on the back burner and finally wrapped it up not too long ago. Im pretty stoked on the form and on how this baby sits. Its a sweet piece for sure.

Thanks Lj’s
Jeffro

Your materials and craftsmanship are always amazing. The carved burl sure looks great.

With all your root projects, do you just cut them off trees? You seem to find a lot of them.

Neptune himself would be proud to sit in that. Pretty darn awesome.

That is one of the coolest chairs I’ve ever seen! And Paul’s right—definitely fit for Neptune!

Very nice throne. Good use of common wood.

That’s what I mean Jeffro. Your sculptured chairs and their locations always make me long for an afternoon with nothing to do and a glass of Black Bush.
