My son wanted a mobile bar cart. I searched the web for reference but ended up designing this myself so it could be used also as a kitchen island (and to use the classic fabrication techniques I prefer). It weighs over 100 pounds even though I used pine for the shelves and dividers. It should last forever. Took about 70 hours to complete.
Characteristics: Solid maple on casters. Mortise & tenon, dovetail joinery. Floating panels, top and bottom with adjustable shelves. 3 separate colours of stain and wiping varnish for final finish.
