This is my pencil holding pencil. I got the idea from a friend in my wood shop class and I decided that it would be a fun project and make a good gift for a teacher. It is a wood “shell” originally I wanted to make it solid but in order to save wood and considering this was a scrap wood project for class my teacher and I decided it would be best to make it hollowed out to save the wood and have it look and function the same way. Any questions please feel free to comment and let me know what you think!

Might have to make one of these for a friend who collects pencils.

This is a very clever and fun project. Bet any kid would enjoy having this in their room. Good work!

This looks fun. My wife would like this in her classroom.

that really came out real nice, Eric. Hopefully that finds its way to a really worthwhile teacher!
