I had some nice looking scrap from other projects that I couldn’t throw out so I decided to use it to make letter openers. I didn’t have any plans, I cut them freehand on a band saw and sanded them on a stationary belt sander. The top 3 are walnut, the next 2 are cocobolo, the next 5 are hickory and the bottom is cherry. All of them except the cocobolo are finished with wiping varnish, wax and ran through a buffing wheel. The cocobolo openers don’t have any finish, they’re just buffed. I’m doing a local craft fair in a few months and I’ll try to sell them there. Thanks for looking.

Outstanding project and idea. I have bunch of such narrow scraps which I still keep but I don’t know why.
