This design reminded me of a mother/daughter. Made from the same stock, (Strong, yet graceful with gentle curves) The mother protecting and sheilding her daughter. Either can stand alone, but always a part of one another. Curly Maple.
I promise not to bore you with any more boxes… (for a little while) lol.

I do like the curves, but the handles are a real standout. You aredefinnitely inspiring me to find time to play with the bandsaw. All these are incredible. I can’t wiat to see your next creations.

Excellent stuff Huff! I though it was a great design and the finish spectacular, then I clicked on the second picture. I realized you had designed it as two boxes. Very cool!
Keep up the great work. I may borrow the concept and come up with something with the two fitting boxes. Right now I’m working on a stackable set of band-saw boxes in Walnut. Can’t wait till I’m done and can play a little with other designs.
Again, wonderful work!

Mother / daughter is a great idea. Very nicely done, and I like the grain. You are more advanced than I am. I am sure I could learn from your finishing techniques on a project like this box. What is your sanding sequence? What is your finishing process?
