these are some awnings i made for home a couple years ago
1/8” cypress laminate bent on a jig
2 1/2” angle iron spaced 1” apart, whole bunch of c-clamps, cut off the t handle and weld on 3/4” nut to speed up the clamp process with air wrench
the slots in the plywood are for cauls and clamps to minimize the upward sliding of the slats during clamping
this one is a 36” half circle for a 18” awning
George’s steering wheel blog inspired me to post this, i’m unsure about how to join the two halves for a full circle

they paid for themselves last week, we had 3-4” hail
dented the siding but saved the glass
