This is a follow-up to my original ‘Warped Sled’ post a few weeks ago.
Thank you all for your advice and comments.
Here is what I came up with.
The sled is 24”x36”
The base is 1/2” Baltic Birch plywood
The fences are a lamination of that same 1/2” BB Ply.
The front fence has a T-Slot and a couple of adjustable Cherry stop blocks.
I made the knobs thanks to a jig I saw Izzy Swan use in one of his recent videos.
The runners are maple.
I applied 3 coats of Shellac to the entire sled sanding between coats.
I lightly sanded the sled to dull the shine a little.
I applied a good coat of paste wax to the runners and the bottom of the sled.
I used the 5 cut method and was able to get pretty good results.
I’m still working on a blade guard for the front fence.

I’m hoping that this sled lasts a little longer than the previous did.
Thanks for looking.

simple and very nice. I really like the integrated stop blocks. I need to make a sled and I think I will try to incorporate the stop blocks kind of like this. Maybe I can glue down a ruler or something if I can get it accurate. thanks for posting!

It looks like I will be doing the same here tonight and through the weekend. You even made it the size as I am going to make mine.
