This is a litte cookbook shelf that has a drawer. I learned alot about buting drawers together and how to make them look right. It is mostly made out of pine 1×12. The drawer is 1/4 plywood. The stain is 2 coats Pecan and 2 Coats semi gloss poly. Just a fun learning expierience project!

Dan, great little cookbook shelf. Isn’t it fun to learn something new everytime we do a project. That part of it never changes, it’s a never ending learning experience.

Very nice design! Just right for a kitchen spot!
When I first saw it, I started thinking of how it could also be used to prop a book open, to the desired recipe.
Does it… did I miss it?
What do you think of the idea?
COOL!! I really like it!

No it doesn’t keep a cookbook open to the desired reciepe. But my wife has mentioned something that does do that. Thanks for all the comments and I feel that this site has helped me out greatly! Kepp providing the feedback weather it is good or bad because it only makes us better woodworkers! Thanks
