This the first flute I have made with all handtools in a few years, I used pine with a rosewood bird. I carved the eagle head on the end and used a wood burner to do the feathers. to see the whole series on making a flute and a short video of pics and the flute being played by me check out my blog at http://sleepydogwoodworking.blogspot.com/
I plan on doing another series of how to make flute with woodworking machines next

Joey: Great Looking eagle and flute. I make the flute also and they are always so relaxing to make and soothing to play. Keep the chips flying!
