The holiday craft season is approaching fast so I’ve been busy in the shop coming up with new toys. All are made from 1” thick pine stair treads. The fire engine and car carrier are my take on an idea I saw online, while the 18 wheeler is my design. I like to keep them simple ut sturdy.

Thanks for looking.

You realize that I may have to “borrow” the fire truck, 18 wheeler, and car carrier ideas!

I probably will just use 2 by for the blanks though. I have more of that readily available as salvage.

Those are great toy truck and car designs! You are one awesome toy maker!

I am going to copy some of them since I am fresh out of my original designs. I try to never build two alike. I use 2×4 cutoffs for my materials.

Pretty neat toys. What kid wouldn’t be pleased to open that on Christmas morning!

The dog looks like “Waddya mean, that’s NOT a chewtoy?” LOL

The trucks are my own design, really just a sketch with some dimensions on a sheet of paper. Total length of tractor is around 8”, total length of trailer is a it over 11”. Tractor wheels are 1 3/4”. that should help you sketch something up. That is for the tractor trailer. The car carrier is a little bigger.
