This is a barn door built for my older daughter. it is 1.65 meters wide and 2.2 meters tall. The blond wood is Cupressus lusitanica and the red one is Platysmiscium pinnatum, I have had this lumber drying for more than 20 years.
I left in the wood some defects to make it look more rustic. The rail is made of a piece of iron 2 inches wide and 3/16 thick. I made a cut on the bottom piece to provide space for a guide rail. Finished with tung oil.

It is the first barn door I have made and installed and I can tell all of you that it was much easier on all the youtube videos I watched to get ideas.
