Jewelry box – chip carved

This basswood jewelry box with tray measures about 6×12 x 4”H. I lined the bottom with red velvet. If I recall there are about 5,000 cuts needed to remove the chips, but who’s counting, right!
Sealer and spray satin lacquer finish.

Beautiful BOX and the carving is so precise that I can not imagine a CNC machine could ever match this type of carving .
