Still working through a box of Corian blanks, and found a new Polaris Click from Best of the Polaris kits so far. Very smooth action and it comes with a good refill.

The Corian is tough to turn. I bought a carbide spindle gouge to handle the tough material, and experimented with a skew chisel. Not the easiest job, but it finishes beautifully.

Phone sucks as a camera, but my wife is out with the good camera. She doesn’t let me know where she keeps all her toys.

That Corian looks like GREAT pen material! Nice choice.

Did you have trouble with the Polaris pens sticking. i to like the click pens but a sticky pen just will not do

I gave this pen as a gift, so I’m not sure if it is sticking for the new owner. I did write with it for a few days to make sure I had assembled it correctly, and it didn’t stick. The Polaris kit is not a premium kit, but it’s a good pen.
