This is my first bread board I made back in 2012. Made completely out of walnut. In retrospect I should have made it a little bigger, as you can see, the bread is too big for the board. perhaps next one.

I really like the idea of drilling the holes. It’s different. Normally you see a standard grate with square holes or straight slots. I think I want to make one. The only addition for me and my small kitchen, is to add a couple of rare earth magnets to keep the grate in place. That way I can store it vertically when not in use. I just gotta remember to empty it before I put it away. :-)
