First end grain cutting board

This was my first end grain cutting board I made back in 2013 as a Christmas present for a friend. It was made with maple and purpleheart. I can’t take credit for the design. I was inspired by something similar I saw on Etsy.

Nice job. I love the look of purpleheart, I just hate trying to sand it. It just doesn’t like the drum sander.
