A few months ago I picked up a free foosballl table off of craigslist. It was made out of laminated particle board and had been kept outside so most of it was either rotten or warped really bad. I removed all of the hardware and took measurements of the original parts. I then rebuilt the upper section of the table out of solid pine (2×12s for the sides) boards and 1/4” plywood for the top. For the base I came across another free item, which was a very heavy metal that I sanded the paint off of and then sealed the bare metal.

After everything was cut and painted it was reassembled just the same as the original table and the original hardware was put back into place. Now I have a nice heavy duty table that should last a whole lot longer than the original ever would.

Great rebuild. Awesome game/maschine/toy. I bet it was fun to renew it, as well as playing will be even greater fun.
