Okay, so this is more a bragging post than a project post. :-)
I took this beach photo on my recent cruise. The location is the island of Curacao. The frame is just a simple construction of some pine I had laying around. The miters are reinforced with biscuits. It doesn’t show up well in the photos, but there is a roundover on the inside edge and a cove on the outer edge for visual interest. The finish is just black satin enamel.
Looking at this makes me feel peaceful, and brings back great memories which, I expect, will last a long time.

Great proportions and very clean and simple. It can take a lot of work to make something look simple.

Nice frame and photo, Charlie. I guess when you look at it, with that bag over your head, you could hear the ocean, too.

Nice frame, simple and to the point. If it were any fancier it would be distracting from the really cool picture.

Great looking frame and picture Charlie. I know we all sometimes have vacations we would rather forget, so I’m glad you enjoyed yours so much.

The frame color fits the room great. I am curious though…what happened to the “smiling Charlie” profile picture?

Nice work Charlie – I can see where that photo would “relax” you. I really like the simplicity of the frame – it frames the photo well, without drawing the eye away from the photo.
