I have always loved the stripped boats. Kayak, canoes, other boats. They are pieces of art. You did a beautiful job on yours.

Very nice! I also love the look of wooden kayaks and canoes.

I made a cedarstrip canoe 5 years ago too. I am now thinking of kayaks.

Very nice. Is this one of Gilpatrick’s models? I know what you mean by labor of love, just be careful you don’t catch the canoe bug, building them is habit forming. Great job, thanks for sharing.

Great job. But wouldn’t it be faster to just walk to the other side of the pool instead of trying to paddle???
