This stopper has been sold. Visit my Etsy store to see the available wine bottle stoppers
Project Description
This segemented stopper is my eighth completed project in my June 2009 “30 Projects in 30 Days” challenge. Building these stoppers has been a lot of fun for me. Each design element allows for a number of alternatives by using different species of wood. I used the Octo-Twist design on this stopper.
Considering that each stopper takes several hours to build and turn, I take great joy in knowing that no two stoppers are the same.
Stopper Stats:- Total pieces: 121
- Primary Wood: Jatoba & Red Leaf Maple
- Cap: Sapele
- Dimensions: 2-1/8” tall, 1” diameter
- Finish: CA/BLO
Other segmented wine bottle stoppers I have created and posted here at Lumberjocks
