Some of you might remember a forum topic I posted a few weeks ago about getting help with the shape of a bowl I was working on.
Well this is the result-
Rosewood sqaure bowl finished with scandanavian teak oil
Anybody trying one of these bowls be very carefull about the square corners. sharp parts spinning at 2000 rpm and fingers dont mix well :)
thanks for looking
comments and critiques welcome
PS. sorry about the cork holding up the bowl in 3rd pic (was in a hurry because my camera battery was about to die)

Very well done Brody and more importantly really beautiful. The only thing lacking is tool marks. (Meant in a positive way)

Fantastic job – appears to be well balanced, good proportions. Is the sage advice from your experience or someone else’s? Keep up the good work!

Very eloquent—graceful… for some reason reminding me of a Scandinavian flair?

Very nice design!!! I’ve been wanting to try something like this for a while now. I like what I see. Did that cork in any way inspire your design? If so I’ll have to add a beer cap to my pics!!! HAHA.

Broda, it is a superb bowl. You are so young and have mastered the art so well. You have a very bright future. God bless you.

A very slick bowl. I like the square aspect, it adds a lot of visual interest.

Elaine- I got my fingers nicked while trying to sand the far edge but luckily I was using a piece of steel wool behind the sandpaper, so it didn’t hurt too much, but I can imagine it would on bare fingers :D
Thanks alot for your comments everybody
