Here is a quarter sawn oak computer desk I built for my wife Carol. It took 84 mortise and tenons and a lot of fun!

Great project. From the front it reminds me of an arts and crafts library table. Great color. Thanks for posting.

My wife has been dropping “hints” the last couple of days since I finished her desk. She thinks a matching cabinet with a couple of doors, shelves and drawers would really be nice to have near her new desk.
That realllyy put a grin on my chin bedause I look forward to each project in my shop like a kid in a candy store!

Time to sharpen the chisels, clean the shop, order some more QS oak and start designing the cabinet.

Greg,

Came back to your first posted project. Looking through your journey to 1/2012 is a great experience! A new admirer had asked how you do what you do…again. LOL So I hadn’t looked back from when you did the bird houses, But it provides a nice portfolio and visual journey.

I wonder where your next inspiration will come from. :)

Think I might be getting out from under paperwork and I will be able to get out into my shop.

Hey you must have bought that car battery around the first post?
