Well maybe not purple. Started out with blue then added red then added yellow. After all that dried I sanded it back and coated it with “pickling white” stain. Finish is rattle can Deft semi gloss. 6×3 Hackberry that Joe (trifern) and I harvested at my sisters house.

maybe I’ve been to a couple of concerts too many but doesn’t it look like that (VERY NICE) turned vessel is exhausting lilacs from its “stack”? None the less a beautiful turning, thanks for sharing.

Terry, nice job with the turning. The dye did a nice job of blending with the wood grain orientation.

Nice looking hollow form Terry. Perhaps we will have time to play with color Tuesday after we get back to my shop.

Watch out Joe, Looks like you are making yourself some competition. Very giving of yourself. Would you give me lessons? LOL.

Thanks everyone. Joe I look forward to it.

Mike our turning club has a critic session before every meeting. I have to say that listening in has given me some pretty good insite.
