Had a friend who has limited space in her 3 year old’s bedroom. She asked if I could build a combination toychest and bookcase. She plans on painting it so plywood was the material of choice. Overall it’s 36” x 84” x 22” deep. The shelves are 12” deep and fixed in dados. Didn’t want the little one pulling them down. I primed it before assembly to save her some hassle. Overall I’m very happy with it.

Nice design… very functional for child’s bedroom… good idea to fix the shelves to prevent accident.

Nice job! You should be happy with it! And so should the owners. And in a sincere form of flattery, I may have to copy it! Thanks for the sharing.
