This board measures 13 1/2”x 17 1/2” x 1 1/2” thick. Solid maple and walnut, finished with mineral oil. I blogged about the design and construction here.

Per your first post. Would it be advisable to use a wash coat of Glue and water and sand prior to finishing with Mineral Oil so as to reduce the end grain from sucking too much oil?
