this is a pattern by Kathy Wise my favorite intarsia artist.It is 136 pieces and has walnut,beech,aspen,ebony,yellowheart,sycamoreand a m.d.f. backer.this is my favorite piece to date.

Thats GRrrrrreat! Very nice looking piece. If I had the extra coin right now, I’d surely get a scrollsaw. Intarsia is such a great way to use up scraps.

Great job on the lion, I love it. I have Kathy’s book and every time I see the lion on the back cover, I want to make the lion. Great job!

wow thank you guys for nice comments.pc guy you should make this piece it was a blast to cut and shape everything about it was fun.The best part was that I got the beech wood from Kathy her self as I was at her class.I told her I was going home to make it and she gave me the wood for the face how cool is that!!
