This is a set of drawers that was completed in June 2009. They were built for display in our showroom. One side has 2 drawers and double doors and the other side has just panel. The reason I usually make a solid panel on one side is for those smaller rooms where the bed will go close to the wall. Since the drawers wouldn’t be able to be accessed a false panel was placed there. I could have put a door at the foot but I wanted to display what it would look like without one.
The platform, or mattress support is ¾” MDF. Unlike the previous post, I didn’t edge this one in the matching hardwood. I just stained the MDF.

Looks good. Is the mattress secured to the frame somehow? It looks like a little motion in bed and that mattress will be on the floor, if you know what I mean(wink, wink)
