Hey everyone first post here and pretty new to this site. I just traded in my college text books to try my hand at a full time gig of woodworking. Here is my first custom made order for a customer. Hand chiseled out 90 degree corners in the bats to have a clean fitting joint in the trim. Also made the table super strong and I was really pushing for ways to attach the bats to the table other than just drilling a hole and putting it through. I was first against the bolts to attach them but I think it adds an industrial look that goes along very well with St. Louis. Also the legs can now be removed for shipping to save money for the client, and also they can be removed if the client ever moves. Really satisfied with the product and think I got off to a good start as a self-employed woodworker.

Very well done Swampbarn.

I see traditional table making methods used to your advantage.

A bit more info on the table top logo eh?
