This is a two shelf credenza that I built for my wife, it is in our dining room and it complements our decor by adding a bit of informal flavor to the room. My wife is very happy and I am happy to be complete with this project, I try and explore new methods every time I build something, in this one I honed my chiseling skills, used mortise joinery as well as creating tapered legs for the piece. My wife always does a splendid job decorating our home. I hope you like our project, The table is rather long, the dimensions are 60” in length by 30” in height and 14” deep. The top is made of poplar I used biscuit joinery to create the top, the legs are tapered from 2” to 1.5” at the bottom

thank you! I chiseled mortises on each of the legs and glued and pocket screwed in place. this is one of the new joinery techniques that I tried, and needless to say, I need to sharpen my chisels and practice a whole lot more. hope this helps and thanks for checking out the project, My wife loves it and it was a whooole lot cheaper than pottery barn..
