I made this project for a Wellington family. The wood is Eucaliptus globoider, an Australian hadrwood grown here in NZ…Bulls actually. Also in the mix is some E.fastigata and Blackwood on the middle drawer front.
I used Himalayn cedar in the drawer bottoms….which leached a little. Something I need to fix.

This has been quite addictive as warned by numerous lumber jocks….......but fun.

Thanks heaps for the comments. We are winding down now here at UCOL. What a year it has been. A very talented bunch this year in both first and second year. It is nice to be surrounded by creative people.
Hey ….imagin a lumber jocks gathering. You could all come for a week in Palmerston North New Zealand. Check it out on google earth. Have a great Christmas all of you.
Blessings,
Andy.
