This is a set of drawers that was completed in June 2009. They were built for display in our showroom. One side has a bank of 6 drawers and the other has 4 with double doors. Also at the foot for extra storage is another double doors.
The platform, or mattress support is ¾” MDF with a maple edge around the three visible sides. The corners are mitered with a radius.

Very nice setup…i have been thinking of doing this for my new bed in my new house…how long did it take and anywhere i might find some plans for this?

Randy, I built 3 different ones at the same time. If I just worked on this by it’s self maybe 5-6 hours with the finish. I’ve built 1000’s of drawers units similar to these and refinied it to speed up the process many time. Email me and I’ll send you something, chris@wwbeds.com . I have a step-by-step instructions I made for my workers, but I don’t know where the orginal file is. If I can find it I’ll send it to you.
