Ok, technically this isn’t made out of wood, but it’s for the shop and I thought it may help someone with ideas. I used a filter I got from the hardware that filters down to .5 microns. I added that to a standard box fan that is 20×20 and called it good. I suspended it from the ceiling with chain, and hooked it into a switch that I have so it’s just a push button to turn it on/off.

It’s amazing what that will capture. When mine gets coated I just take it outside, lean it against a fence and blow it out with a leaf blower.

That’s blowing UP, right? because if you have it blowing DOWN, the filter is on he wrong side of the fan.
