My son wanted me to make a new fleece jacket…he’s in the Coast Guard stationed in Alaska. Sewing is another one of my hobbies. I surprised him with the cutting board too. I made some to practice for the Kitchen Island.
He wondered why the package with a fleece jacket was so heavy.

The board is maple and walnut. Finished w/ 3 coats of salad bowl finish thinned 50/50 with mineral spirits.
