this is a box I made for my youngest son. the basic outline of the dragon was masked and sray painted and the rest of the box was painted black. then the dragon was chip carved for his outline and further details of the wings, legs, body along with “adam”. i just routered the edges of the lid and base. it looks really cool! maybe some good ideas can come from the contrast of wood and paint.

Nice box. I like the large overhang of the top and bottom.

Very cool! I really like the idea of painting then routing. Another one of those simple things that I never would have thought about.
