Just a couple of wooden ornaments I turned.

First one is solid black walnut. Danish oil and Hut friction polish.

Second one is a blank I made from black walnut, mahogany, and bloodwood. Danish oil and CA coated.

Last two are different views of the same piece. Maple burl. I tried a stabilizing technique in which I soaked the thing for a week in 50/50 solution of polyurethane and mineral spirits. Didn’t work so great but I was able to turn it and then put about 10 coats of CA on it after.
