M&M dispenser made in the “segmented” style. Thanks to all the other jocks out there for the inspiration to finally mark this one off my bucket list! Wide mouth canning jar used. Base is oak, main body is oak and cherry. Top ring is oak. Slide is cherry with a maple knob. Should have cut groove for slide before making it round, it was a real pain to clamp and hold while routing as in the 4th photo! Will make groove while the piece is square on next one! Thanks for looking! It’s a fun little project. This one will be donated as a door-prize for my family reunion coming in about a week or so. Already had requests for more!

Very nice Dennis! It’s a good looking M&M dispenser! Seems like this project is gaining popularity out there.
It will be a good door prize!

Nice looking dispenser Dennis, nice to see others getting away from the original design

Very fancy design and yes you better get a few more done as the list for takers will grow and grow.
Maybe you could send a couple to the above gentleman so they can answer the challenge. LOL

I can see this appearing on a lot of office desks for visitors. (-;

Be careful Dennis, be very careful. Rockbuster showed his Candy Dispenser to his Sister and got an order for a heap of them, then his Kathy decided they would be good gifts for Christmas and then the Recipients of the original ones wanted some more, so now Don is in full production, he needs a Factory. LOL.
Great design and job.

Bob.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Thanks for all the great comments! I just don’t have the time to make that many of them right now. Someday maybe!
