If you remember Exxon’s ad to put a tiger in your tank, well I put one in a vase. This is a hollow form turned from Bradford pear wood a very nice wood to work with then pierced with the image of a tiger.

Tom, how are you piercing the design?
Nice embellishment to your hollow vessel.

Very nice Tom. I hope you haven’t abandoned marquetry. I miss your beautiful boxes.
Love the turnings but I still miss the marquetry boxes.

That came out very clean looking. Like peteg said: a nice piece of art.

Tom

You do an excellent job on piercing wood for sure. The top of the vase looks well done also.
