Over the last couple of months I have been making these holding crosses for the Chapel at the local hospital, they are given to critically and seriously ill patients to cling on to. Gave me the opportunity to use up a lot of wood that was taking up space in the shed and also the feeling that I was doing something to help others. Pic 1 is the first batch I delivered and pic 6 the second delivery. Rather fiddly to make and the Dremel took a bit of skin off the fingers and when I passed them on to the Chaplain I told him the crosses etc. had already been well and truly blessed.

A very special cause, which I’m sure is appreciated by those who receive your work. You have a good heart my friend.

Good going here Bob, funny how a small thing like this can light up a face, I know the feeling, as I get the same results with my google eyed key chains.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
