I started chip carving in May of 2008. It took a lot of practice before I had something to post. I learned a lot from Barry McKenzie’s Newsletters and from Mike at http://www.mychipcarving.com. Mike has some great video tutorials for beginners. I love designing patterns, transfering them to wood, and chip carving them. Finishing is secondary to carving.
