Howdy! This is the first project I have posted here. This was my first attemtp at a suspended bowl. The base is Maple, the top is Cherry with a maple knob. It is about 7X4X3H. The finish is just oil for now. The good news is I did not skin a single knuckle! My wife already exercised her right of first dibbs and requested 2 more in different sizes. I can see lots of different possibilities with this form. Thanks for looking!

Great looking bowl. I have been looking at doing one of these. I tried a small piece once but got a few knuckle bruises in the attempt. I might have to attempt this again. Job well done. How long did it take you to turn this bowl?

Nice job with your first square edge project. Secret to turning these is to turn at the highest speed possible. Looking forward to seeing more of your projects.

My inverter is being repaired right now but I’ll be back turning soon. You make me want to turn all the more. Very nice looking turning. I’ve yet to make one like it. I’ve been at it a few years now. Again kudos.
