In 2014, I made a Stickley style round end table. A picture of it is shown above. I posted this project previously on this web site. You can see it here.

My wife likes the round table, and asked me to make a sofa table, which sets between the sofa and the wall…...of if the sofa is not setting against a wall, the sofa table sets behind the sofa. She wanted the same Stickely style as the end table.

I modified the round table design to make the sofa table. The slotted end pieces and feet are the same Stickley style as the round table. I used Google Sketchup to come up with the sofa table design.

The new table is red oak with the same stain color as the previous round table. I also used Behlen’s grain filler to get the super smooth finish on the table top.

If you are interested in my trials & tribulations of making this sofa table, you can visit my web site.

The wife likes the new sofa table as well :)

Nice work Dale ,but one thing you’re going to be in big trouble if you don’t put a coaster under that coffee cup on the round table. LOL
