Here is the second segmented ring I have made. This one fits!
I have also done a Tutorial Blog with Step By Step pictures/instructions on how I did this.

Woods used ; Alder and Ebony
Finished with 2 coats of Tung Oil / Varnish. Will add more coats with 0000 steel wool between.
Do not like the second pic. It is too yelow/dark. The ring did not darken this much from the finish.
