Pair of floating top end tables

This is a pair of floating in tables that I made for my cousin. I’ve always loved these tops but have never had the chance to use them so for me this was a chance to check something off a list. The legs are oak with termite holes in them and the tops are walnut. Mortise and tenon construction and using figure 8 fasteners for the top. 5 coats of wipe on poly, a custom mix of mineral spirits, boiled linseed oil and polyurethane.

Your first picture shows the proportions nicely. They look really good! I’m sure your cousin is very proud to have them.
