She liked it a lot actually. The finish used is Behandla Wood Treatment Oil. It is from Ikea. My instructions are, every day for a week, every week for a month and every month for a year. So I needed some help on the first day, as I was busy. Sooo SWMBO helped out, and she did not scream when I took the photo.
Finished this today at my woodworking class. It is my first furniture project done in class. The features in the timber are quite dramatic, I hope they show up in the photos. I brought it home intending for it to grace the corner of the media room. The wife, blew me away yet again, by proclaiming it is far too nice and will have to be put in lounge so people can see it. Needs a few more coats of finish, starting tomorrow. It is made from one piece of rough sawn New Guinea Rosewood.
Goodnight all, hope you enjoy.
Cheers

Gorgeous Table!
The simple elegant design with tapered legs is very “Shaker”.
You have every right to be proud of this!!

A great looking table. Nice bookmatched top. I plan on making a table for the entry of our home at our Shaker Table class we will have at the Mason Dixon Woodworkers club. Our class is being held in October.
