Jewelry Box for My Daughter

Project by renaissance_guy posted 174 days ago 843 views 11 times favorited 15 comments Add to Favorites Watch

My daughter and I developed this design from looking at commercial Jewelry Boxes on the Internet. The carcass and handles are Maple. The drawer fronts are Purpleheart. The top drawer has a foam insert for holding rings. The finish is wipe on Poly.

That is an awesome jewelry box. I love the contrasting woods. Nice job with the joinery too. Now, you built the box, the expensive part comes next … filling it up.

Thanks for sharing.
