Just got started carving birds this spring. A lot of work, but worth it. Here is my first go of it with a goldfinch. I am not proud of the feet. But I am getting better at making them out of wire and epoxy putty.

Doug, that’s really nice. I know I couldn’t carve anything like that. Good Job.

Your profile doesn’t say where you live, but I’d guess that as the Goldfinch is the Washington State bird, you live in the Pacific Northwest ???
